Our agony – their ecstacy

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Solo –
the best goalkeeper in the world, stands forlornly between the sticks
his presence scorned – four bullets fired – disguised as penalty kicks
Solo –
Prince Pepé Reina : a put-upon pauper in paparazzi terms
weaves his magic and José squirms
Solo –
said Spaniard paws away the jelly rhythm’d ball, to great appeal
as would a pugancious polar bear swat a seal

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 So low – the Chelsea faithful slink away
So high – Anfield’s 12th man – sure came into play

Notes
