Our Fathers Faith

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The rains of Anfield can never erase
Her glorious deeds her glorious days
The stars in the sky all dip down low
To find a space to watch the show
They sing the songs they cheer each goal
And love the reds with heart and soul
We pray that Justice finds the truth
And peace at last may then shine through

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Tho football is our daily bread
It’s not more important than life, or death
The Anfield Shrine gives light to those
Who stand beside and don’t lose hope
For home is where your heart will rest
And where your treasure should be kept
It’s not in bricks that Anfield belongs
But in our hearts and in our songs

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Our team built with passion
And driven with pride
Their football the finest
A true championship side
We don the colours we’ll never change
Here with our family we will stay
And through the storms of life all safe
Our Fathers faith with us remains…
