Paint a Vulgar Picture

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We used to really hate your excess
Abhorrence, revulsion beguiled
Put a dollar instead of an S
Detestation extremely hostile

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We used to really hate your success
Ye bought the best players around
No honour, class nor finesse
But cups and medals abound

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 We used to really love your distress
Some danced as ye faltered, not I
It cost ye poor Ollie, God bless
Same fate to our club did apply

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Apathy’s now the feeling conveyed
Comrades in the trenches too long
Wanting to get out but still half afraid
And return back to where we belong

Notes

Shelbourne are visiting us this weekend, its their first trip down south since Nov 2006, we both spent beyond our means and paid the price, some higher than others. There was a huge rivalry but not anymore.
