Paul Gascoigne

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The exquisite yet fragile beauty
That mutinied and perished
As it turned its savage flaw
Into a triumvirate of
Plaster, lager and tears
Yet genius grinned
Defiantly once or twice
With a smile bright as sun
Dancing off a shattered diamond
Set in a heart generous and chaotic
And daft as a brush…
