Perfect Day.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Hair cut, shave and a shower
Crisp tee shirt and a fresh pair of faded Levi’s
Dried by the sun on an outside washing line.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 You’re in a pair of flip flops, walking down the road
Under a candy floss blue and white sky,
Listening to the banter, toward a local stadium.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Sat edgily back in a tip up seat
Basking in the warm sunshine,
Midst familiar faces, you’re speechless.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 As the two teams run out
On to a beautiful carpet of shaded green stripes
To tumultuous applause.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Demanding those little hairs
On the back of your neck
Stand to attention and your pulse race…now.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Yep. Marcus Aurelus of Roma had it about right
“Very little is needed to make a happy life”

Notes

Nothing compares to the above for a perfect day, in my eyes.

Peace

Kev
