Notes
Last night Arsenal destroyed Slavia Prague 7 – 0 with the most breathtaking display of perfect football.
Great testimony to a giant of a manager who has stuck to his principles throughout his 11 year reign – Arsene Wenger.
& I reckon Slavia must have felt they were facing a 5-7-5 line-up last night, such was Arsenal’s awesome superiority!
Ok, so the opposition wasn’t the strongest – but still, on that showing, Arsenal would have destroyed ANYONE.
Sod the haiku rules Crispin 😉
When the football is that perfect –
then there just aren’t words enough to do it justice
(The rule relates to the fact that though there are not normally titles for a haiku, but as this site requires a poem name – we have to put one.
But properly, the haiku title should be of a word that is included in the haiku, i.e. the title of the haiku should not give any other strand to what the haiku is trying to convey).
