Tumbleton United are looking far and wide
For new players, with the hope of forming a new side.
Would you like to play for us? You don’t have to be any good.
We’re told we should be selective and maybe we should,
But if you saw us last year you’ll realise anyone will do.
We lost every single game, can’t see why we’d be fussy, can you?
And not only did we fail to chalk up a single win,
We’d lose spectacularly with an extremely high margin.
So if you are a goalkeeper who enjoys pressure, toil and sweat
And you don’t mind constantly picking the ball out of the back of the net,
Or if you are an outfield player of any position at all
And you have enough ability at least to kick a ball,
Then we are the team for you please phone the number below
Because any decent player with a brain wouldn’t want to know.
