Portuguese Man of War

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Mourinho faces the press
Full of excuses, ham-fisted
Just like our blue brethren
He’s so bitter and twisted

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We’d chase after Drogba
Make sure he got a ban
Cringeworthy, free blue flags
For every Chelsea fan

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Not cannibals but so hungry
To devour your hopes and dreams
Only one club wanted to win it
But never as easy as it seems

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Your mean defence bewildered
By Agger’s clever drive
You complain about penalties
Then manage one from five

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 So the small club goes to Athens
Another notch carved on our post
And you return to your obsession
That goal scored by a “ghost”

Notes

Over the weekend, Mourinho was very complimentary to the new Premier League Champions, their players, their manager, their fans … but cannot manage one word of praise for Liverpool.

Chelsea have played against Liverpool in six European games over the last three seasons and have managed ONE goal. Maybe next time …
