Public Apology to Robbie Doyle

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Robbie Doyle, I’m so ashamed
That I and many others claimed
That you did knowingly assist
In getting Colin H dismissed.
Oh, how we turned the air bright blue
And hurled such foul abuse at you,
And labelled you a cheating scum
And cast aspersions on your mum,
And hoped that justice would prevail,
And maybe you’d end up in jail.
But then we watched it on TV,
So clear for everyone to see.
We missed the headbutt to your face
That caused your sudden fall from grace.
The sending off was justified –
I don’t think that can be denied.
And thus we humbly do repent,
For you were plainly innocent.
We grovel humbly at your feet,
Our abject sorrow is complete.
Oh Robbie, can you ever start
To find forgiveness in your heart?

It’s just the kind of thing you’d do.)
