Quisling

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Germans drove tanks into Paris,
And Marshall Petain said, “Okay.
We’ll bow and we’ll grin
And we’ll welcome them in,
And maybe they’ll leave us some day.”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Germans were keen on their football,
And they challenged the French to a game,
And Marshall Petain,
Such an affable man,
Agreed with a nod to the game.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Admission was two thousand deutschmark,
A sizeable sum they’d to shell out.
But Marshall Petain,
Was a well-content man,
For the crowd at the game was a sell-out.
