Raith Rovers Och Aye!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Bonnie braw Raith Rovers
From aul’ Kirkca’dy toon,
Sometimes are up near th’ top
An’ other times way doon;
But nae matter whether high or low,
Or somewhere in between,
Th’ lads who play at Stark’s Park
Will always be m’ team…

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 On a braw bricht moonlicht nicht,
Or cold wet windy day,
I’ll follow aul’ Raith Rovers
Whenever they may play:
Th’ club has a noble history
An’ a gran’ future too,
Tis great t’ be a Rovers’ fan,
Dyed in th’ wool, true blue…

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Lads an’ lasses will ye join me,
Nae matter where ye are,
In toastin’ aul’ Raith Rovers
Wi’ a wee dram or twa?
Be upstandin’, raise yer glasses,
Then shout th’ battle cry,
All t’gether, one, twa, three…
“RAITH ROVERS OCH AYE!”

Notes

Never mind the World Cup… real football starts when Raith Rovers kick off their 2014/15 league campaign in the Scottish Championship. Titanic struggles lie ahead against the likes of Rangers, Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian, with the prize being promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
