Reasons To Be Cheerful Part 4

My season ticket cost £335
With nine months interest free
No visiting zillionaires
No humiliation on Sky TV
Back to before we were famous
No slaughter by Sunday press
No more pristine transplanted pitches
We can go back to growing cress
No more ‘fixture congestion’
Where we play two games in a month
Hail Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday
Too many games are never enough
No more transfer window
Which frankly is a ‘pane’
To celebrate our successes
We take a step into Memory Lane
No more credit in Barclaycard
Our future’s looking fizzy
Bounce back up or sink like stone
Imagination already busy
