Red Inside and Out

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I am going to a bar in cold and windy Washington, D.C.
to watch Liverpool play on TV in the Champions League.
It is the Lucky Bar and I hope the establishment will be lucky

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 for us once again. But I am embarassed
because I still don’t have my red LFC scarf.
I know my friend Shane will be all bedecked

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 as a true fan should be. Truth to say,
my scarf must be buried in the spare
bedroom/computer room. I’ll find it one day,

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 but today I am going to cheer the Reds and shout
and groan without it. Perhaps it won’t matter
and we can still be victorious without it. Well,

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 I did wear my red Hanes underpants
and that should be sufficient
to put us over the top.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Up The Reds!

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Christopher T. George
