School Days

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When I play football,
My team-mates take the mick a bit,
But just as a joke – if I miss a goal or mess up.
But the other team sometimes say things like
‘Chimp’, ‘Monkey’, or ‘Buddah’.
When I play with the older lads,
They sometimes call me ‘Curry-Breath’.
I just laugh and pretend it’s alright
But it does get me down.
It’s always me they go to and pick on,
It’s hardly ever my mates because they are white.
My mates stick up for me sometimes,
But its usually the older players that say things.
