Sea of Red

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’ve walked alone so many times
But never at our Anfield ground,
Heard the optimisim and the whines
Walked shoulder to shoulder with the crowd.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And although I didn’t know those that strolled with me
I felt perfectly safe with the big lads towering above,
Sailing down Breck Road our sea of red is all I see.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’ve grabbed my chips from the chip shop
In my mind I’m reliving the game,
Liverpool 2 Sheffield United 1
A win for us all the same!

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’m homewards bound, leaving our Anfield Town
Until the weekend that is,
When I’ll return on Saturday
To see Liverpool lift the crown.

Notes

I’ve always felt safe at Anfield and maybe one day we will win the Premiership trophy!!! :o)
