Shock Win For Canaries

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Man – you came to Carrow Road
To appear, not to perform
To take three points from underlings
It’s considered to be the norm
You were the ones with a star studded bench
Our fans were rivetted to their seats
Norwich got up close and personal
Fed up with grim defeats
Half time and still nil-nil
A win was in our sights
We knew we had them worried
Their subs had joined the fight
The best they had to offer
Best strikers in the land
Van Nistelrooy and Rooney
Turned away with one Green hand
We scored once, we scored twice
Our fans were singing “Ease-ee!”
“We are bottom of the league”
But feeling bright and breezy
I suppose it is a shocking win
Man – you got what you deserved
Your full squad wasn’t good enough
Neither were your reserves

Notes

Excellent win – what a feeling. It gives us a paddle to take up the creek.
