Silence Descends Once More

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The memories went some way to support us,
Those golden days when we earned great acclaim.
We earned a reputation as supporters
And often put opposing clubs to shame.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 But Deportivo now seems very distant,
Despite the constant plaudits and success.
Our singing section now is non-existent
And, like the team, is failing to impress.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Oh how can we recapture that great movement
When Tolka Park would tremble with the sound?
For like the team, we’ve shown great disimprovement,
And anti-climax permeates the ground.
