Sitting on my own next season ?

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 IT’s that time of the season again
Fingernails ready to be bitten down to the quick
Some fans of clubs will be out celebrating
Whilst others will be depressed and feeling sick.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 My club have been inconsistent again
Up and down more than a childs seesaw
Only us hardcore fans turn up these days
To watch a team that can be really poor.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 My mate has finally thrown in the towel
Onto the pitch he lobbed his season ticket
But he’s not the only Cov City supporter
Who’s told the Chairman where to stick it.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So it looks like I’ll be sitting on my own
Even my son doesn’t come to games anymore
And my family are starting to question my sanity
Saying I should be locked up inside Broadmoor.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Yet I’ll go through it all again next campaign
Because I’ll always support my beloved team
But I do wish they’d put a smile on my face
Instead of me looking like Edvard Munch’s, The Scream !

just thought I’d express how I’m feeling, another season coming to an end, and nothing for my club to really play for again.
But I’ll go through it all again next season, but you do sometimes think, what’s the point ?
