Karen Murphy is a pub landlady who was taken to court by Sky for getting Premier football from a Greek satellite station called Nova, which she could get for a tenth of the cost Sky were charging. The English court found in their favour and she was fined £8.000.
So she went to the European court and they overturned it. As she said
being in the Europe she should be able to get the product as cheaply as possible.
With Sky paying 2billion (so I’m told ) for the rights to the Premier although Sky may have scored an o.g. the game is far from over.
