Specs Appeal

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 When the ticket’s arrive I get so excited
I’m going the match but I’m so long sighted,
I’ll have to remember to take my specs
Otherwise I’ll be thinking Harry Kewell is Becks.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’ll take my seat upon the Main Stand
With my specs on everything is grand,
But then it starts raining and my glasses steam up
Now I’ll miss the presentation of the FA Cup.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I cheer every shot and every cross that I see
Just following the crowd as they sing for glory,
My eyes are tired caused by the strain
Oh why did it go and have to rain?

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But I’m still happy in my Anfield home
I’ve been part of a great game why should I moan,
But next time contact lenses is what I shall wear
Then I can watch the match without a care!

Notes

I really am long sighted, watching LIverpool from high up can be a bit of a pain sometimes! :o)
