Notes

Inspired by Mike Bartram’s recent plea. Mike has contributed so many fine and moving Hillsborough poems over the years which all been published here, making his poem and points raised even more poignant.

That ol’ chestnut, you might cry, but times have changed.
Watching Forest Green at home regularly and witnessing hundreds of home and away fans having a great time standing on terraces only underlines it even more. When Grimsby came here last season in their hundreds with all their inflatables, Cheltenham Town (in the El Glosico) and Bristol Rovers in the play offs too, such a great vibe and no problem. ”
We need to talk” (!) and act….because Eastenders is not the only place where “it’s all about family”
