Steven Naismith

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 So, Naismith’s scored in each of three:
Leicester, Gunners, Blues,
but that’s not what’s done it for me.
Here’s why he cannot lose:
I read here on the Internet
he’s from humble beginnings,
overcame dyslexia,
then used part of his winnings
to help ex-service personnel,
once injured, find employment,
and donates Toffee tickets
to the needy for enjoyment.
His work-rate and his recent form
are best described: terrific,
but his quest to keep the homeless warm
is where he’s most prolific.
True, goals and points can make us rich
and give selection reason,
but, for what he’s doing off the pitch,
he’s the man for the whole season.

Notes
