Still Keep Missing You

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I still feel funny with you not here
even though it’s been a long time
I still keep missing you I don’t know why
I only know I feel it deep inside

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I feel it on the weekend at the break of day
and I feel it in the evenings in the same old way
I feel it in the moments when I think it’s gone away
and I feel it when we’re losing and my mind starts to stray
I can’t get used to it
I can’t get used to it
you’re part of this place and this town
I miss not seeing you
being here and feeling you
I just miss having you around

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 but I still keep thinking
’bout the way it used to be
they way we stood together here
when we were young and free
and I still keep seeing you walking through the gate
the terraces the atmosphere the sound
and I still keep thinking no matter what they do….

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I’ll always miss the ‘real’ old football ground

Notes

sorry! but here’s another fluffed up love poem for the old days .. but this time for many an old decrepid decaying but much loved beautiful stadium…..no prizes for guessing which ground..but did you ever feel the same about your original home ..especially now that most stadiums (including the new Wembley which I stood beneath a month ago) are all statrting to look like fairly identical shopping centres!
