Summer Hell

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As Derby plundered 60 Mill,
The Baggies gulped a bitter pill.
Scouser dream’s dissolved in Greece.
Jose’s double a slight release.
Fergie returned to Premier Heaven,
So the curtain closed on 06-07

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Lying ahead three months of pain.
Tennis tantrums, test match rain,
Shopping trips, family days,
DIY and general malaise.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Transfer rumours, speculation,
Maybe Europe or relegation?
It’s hard to imagine getting through,
Cruelly torn from the beloved crew.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So now I have to batten down,
Slumbers in my dressing gown.
Videos of former glories,
Dreaming of unwritten stories.
Years of history, no time to dwell,
Preparing for this summer hell.
