Terry Butcher’s Smug Mug

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Just sat and watched the telly with a mate of mine “Big G”
Ready to watch the mighty Hoops fair slaughter ICT
One nil down within four minutes, one one after six
Then three one down, you’re kidding me
It has to be a fix

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Then as we thought it could not get worse his big head appeared
His puffy face and big smug grin from the screen it leered
Nothing left to play for, nothing to be won
but smile he did, and smile some more
When he knew that we were done

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Funny that your side never seem to have the fight
but when you play against the Celts it all seems to go right
You’ve got your way I guess , your wishes have come true
Thanks for nothing Mr Smug, you’ll always be a blue
