Thank You, Now Good Riddance

for all that you have done for our us
as you brought us up the ranks.
We wish well for your future,
hope you do not take it personal
but the Board has all concluded
We should be up there with the Arsenal.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Yes we know we sold your skipper,
who was the team’s main inspiration,
we know the fans all loved you
and sang your name in adoration.
But you must have lost the dressing room,
Or the power to set your stall,
cos you brought the boys to Old Trafford
and could only draw one all.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 That was the final draw,
that broke the camel’s back
and the board have now decided
that it’s time you got the sack.
We’re taking a new direction
our goals we must achieve
so good luck planting daffodils
on your nine-month gardening leave.
