That Finn Harps Away Kit

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Harps are a team of great promise,
Though they only attacked us in spurts,
But our eyes were quite blinded,
And ached (at least mine did)
From those hi-visibility shirts.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The orangeness bores through your retina,
Till the whole of your eye-socket hurts,
And the sharp luminosity
Sparks animosity
At those brilliantly florid,
Though really quite horrid
Hi-visibility shirts.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The beam from the floodlight shines brightly,
And, just like a spectrum, diverts,
When hitting those glowing,
Destructive, mind-blowing,
Striking and luminous,
Somewhat voluminous,
Noisy, eye-catching,
Though eyeball-detaching
Hi-visibility shirts.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 There’s nothing illegal about them,
The UEFA official asserts,
But they must be unlawful,
They’re really quite awful,
Those senses-seducing,
And migraine-inducing,
Blinding, intensive,
And grossly offensive,
Most unattractive
And radioactive
Hi-visibility shirts.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 In the end, we were comfortable winners,
And Harps finally got their desserts,
For their swanky, assaulting,
And frankly revolting,
Unstable, contentious,
And slightly pretentious,
Not very laudable,
Quite unapplaudable,
Orange miasma
Of alien plasma,
Those evil, destructive,
And lightning-conductive
Hi-visibility
Shirts.

Notes

Always had a soft spot for Harps but….
