That Voice Was So………. Boring

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 “And its over to Gelsenkirchen
To the Mexican waves and roars
Where the Poles are really up for it
As they take on Ecuador”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 That’s what I expect hear from me telly
When I watch the match at home
Not some dull and dreary voice without excitement
In boring monochrome

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 “The scene is bright and colorful
The fans are out in force
The Polish supporters have only to cross the border
So they out number those from Ecuador”

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Did someone forget to tell Gareth Southgate where he was?
“This is the World Cup for chrissakes!
“It’s about excitement, verve, the tension”
This isn’t a rainy day at the Riverside in Middlesborough Gareth son
At some train spotters convention!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 O bring back the Kenneth Wostenholme’s
The David Coleman’s, Brian Moore’s
When the match was made much more interesting and exciting
By top notch blokes who knew the score!

Notes

Don’t give up yer day job Gareth son!

Oops you already have!

The World Cup isn’t the place to be trying out wannabe commentators with one dimentional voices who send you to sleep so the t.v company are as much to blame.

Where’s Jonathan Pearce gone? He’s got the passion and the voice. He always sounds like he’s throwing stuff around the studio and going off his nut when someone scores, he was terrific on Capital Gold doing all the London games. Where he had a massive following.

Cracking start or what? Eight goals and no one’s commented on the way the new ball moves around….yet!

peace.

kev.
