The Battle of the Hawthorns

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Liverbird she spread her wings and flew
Ninety six miles down the M6
Dalglish’s red army to the Hawthorns they went
To kick off when we’re all having our tea
Carroll of Newcastle and Adam of Dundee
Did place the black and white ball
Behind the West Brom custodian
As Hodgson watched on and saw
How much things have changed
Since he did prepare the reds for battle
It’s onward and upwards for the reds
Dalglish’s army is marching again

Notes

Whilst I have every respect for Hodgson as a manager he just wasn’t right for Liverpool, and that was shown today
