The Big Day – World Cup 2006

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 How do you feel this morning?
Stomach like a scrambled egg?
Last minute nerves pound my head
Heavy heart and leaden legs
Months of waiting, anticipation
Building to this day
Spending loads in preparation
Fleeting time but memories stay
We’ll support you as your moment comes
Filled with beaming pride
As I cheer on England on the TV
Good luck to you – the bride!

Notes

Like others who just don’t understand, one of my cousins is getting married this afternoon, as Enlgand begin their World Cup campaign.
I would say that I chose romance and duty over a soppy wedding but I wasn’t invited. Hurrah!

Good luck Amy – wishing you long life, health and happiness.
