The Celtic Winning Goal

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I have dragged my old bones
Roiund the dust of the earth
Lain with love and her sisters (or two)
I have lived in a way that I fear for my soul
But I found in this life a rare paradise
And it seldom is found that’s no lie
I have witnessed the might of Billy McNeill
I have wept at the feet of Jock Stein
I have prayed to the glory of Kenny Dalglish
And I prayed that John Barnes would leave
Yes there’s been moments of which I’ve been proud
Jinky’s boots they were forged in pure gold
But none matched the miracles and magic I’ve seen
Of a grand Celtic match winning goal….
