The chairman’s appointments

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 We’d a terrible time last year when Coyle was in charge
He took us down a league
He talked a good game and his ego was large
But his players were unfit with fatigue

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We thought he’d get sacked but the chairman persisted
And gave him much longer than thought
Despite giving him stick and the club being tight fisted
We blame it on the players he bought

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The time finally came when Owen was sacked
And the fans rubbed their hands with delight
Who do we get as a matter of fact
An appointment which didn’t excite

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But Duggie it was and he’s here for a while
So we’d better get used to his ways
He’s now got players who are so versatile
But his team selections amaze.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Phill Gartside’s to blame, he’s the one who selects
But he’s made mistakes before
It’s never a manager who everyone expects
But another we’ll probably deplore.

How many more failures are Bolton going to appoint.
