And nearing the mire
In stepped Fergus
Modern day messiah

At this odd looking chap
Determined little fellow
Who wore a cloth cap?

And started again
But his love for Celtic
Meant our history remained

With a five year plan
An all seated stadium
With 60,000 fans

In his quest for power
Battled the authorities
Like a lion, he did devour

A profitable club
No financial sorrow
