The Drop!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Its said that when you face the drop
All first team wages you must chop
As stars get on their bikes to leave you
They’re the reason
That your heart does grieve so

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 As a deathly mood sits o’er the town
Thats it, its final , we are down
As nothing that is said or done
Consoles you

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A week or two you feel anew
As summer and its brightness
Starts to lift you
You make a start within your heart
To make travel plans for Div two

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 You start again
Through wind and rain
To travel all across the country
As you get by you wonder why
Last year’s away form was so bumpy

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 As play-offs come and games are fun
A renewed spirit fills the ground in wonder
You feel so proud as that bleak cloud
Departs and you are free from under

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 As you are at the final game
That lady chance has come by again
To see if you are really worth promotion
Where would she get hold of such a notion?

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 As you go and win the cup
Thats it, all done your team is up
There’s party’s all around town
But try to keep this in your mind
So next time you won’t be so blind
What goes up must come down!

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 peace.
