The Dying Minutes of The Western Conference Game

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 My heart stopped humming, promptly.
A cloud of sadness suddenly appeared in my inner world,
It engulfed my mourning my mind and soul;
Houston Dynamo had just scored a goal.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I began to sink deep in my seat
As the Los Angeles Galaxy, wounded and bled.
Beckham and Donovan, together wailed,
Houston Dynamo, soon to celebrate the victory.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 A drop of sunshine from the night sky suddenly fell on the pitch,
Then the referee pointed to the ground where a foul was.
The Galaxy now breathed again; my nightmare, slowly, melting,
GOD began to whisper to the Galaxy players and their fans:

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 “Goal disallowed, Los Angeles free kick!”
Houston Dynamo, now, blushed with misery,
And I, a joyful fan, chanting again.
In the cold air, hope glimmered, once more, for my team.
