the ever bleak planet

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The lions limped home to their bleak cages,
Bleeding streams upon streams on their legs.
pain, a needle penetrated their skin.
Groans of fury aroused their offsprings,
Unabling those baby lions to sleep tight.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Their hearts throbbed as loud as bomb explosions,
Petrified the other wild species in near by cages.
Their bodies, weak from a hard fought war.
The stampede of agony jolted their brains,
While nightmares of the defeat tore their souls apart.
