The Four Peaks Challenge

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Yes Shels took the four mountain challenge,
To climb all the regional peaks,
But not, as they say, to do four in a day,
But spread out over several weeks.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We travelled away down to Munster
To scale the high peak of Dan Murray.
Though we’d done it before, no never, no more,
And defeat gave us causes to worry.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Ken Oman was next on the hit-list,
And we slowly began our ascent,
But we didn’t succeed which was galling, for we’d
All set out with the greatest intent.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 There were only small molehills in Connaught,
So we went up to Derry instead,
But on Mount Clive Delaney, we shouted out “Jayney!
The altitude’s gone to our head.”

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 And now to the proud Glens of Antrim
That loom up much higher and colder,
As we try and progress, will we snatch some success
Or fall off at the very first boulder?

Notes

Will our League form continue intothe Champions League, or will we recreate the magic of last year?
