the ones you concede
they stain and sully
and make you bleed

the ones so jammy
underserved and so offside –
a double whammy

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 the goals that hurt –
that lose the cup
that make us sick
and then hole up

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 the goals that hurt –
all the more
are the ones received
to the loudest roar

they bring such shame
and all we do
is apportion blame

they cut to the core
and all they do
is leave us feeling sore

oh so cruel
for us – calamity
others drool

especially where
justice is never meted

Sorry suddenly seems to be the easiest word.

First Thierry apologises on the pitch to Richard Dunne, and the next day to the public for an “unintentional” handball.

And now today Roy Keane apologies for his rant on Friday.
