The Jolly Referee

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Oh he’s a jolly referee,
He never takes offence,
He chortles with hilarity
When things are getting tense.
Managers don’t seem to mind
Whene’er he makes a gaffe.
His cheery face, they seem to find,
Will make them grin and laugh.
He sends offenders off the pitch
While chuckling at their plight,
A very strange occurrence which
Just fills them with delight.
The crowd all love his red-faced glow,
His most amusing quirks,
For he’s the only man they know
Who whistles while he works.

Notes

Any resemblance to any referee living or dead is purely accidental and very improbable.
