The Joshua Free

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Joshua stepped up to take the free,
As the Jericho defenders stood in line.
But first he paused in silent reverie,
Seeking inspiration so divine.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 And suddenly a host of ramhorns blew,
Trumpet blasts that soared into the sky
That seemed to rent the stadium in two,
With decibels that echoed upon high.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And then the crowd with one well-practised voice,
Great Israelite supporters of renown,
Did loudly and with unison rejoice,
And suddenly the wall came tumbling down.
