The Liverpool Reds

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You’re all in history’s glory books
And heroes of such fame
Of deeds now done and games we won
And how you made your names
For the lads who brought the victory
For the red that shone like gold
The boys who conquered Europe
And the glory that was Rome!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 There was Crazy Horse and Mighty Mouse
The Iron and Terry Mac,
Big Bamber flyin’ wild to leave
The Kaiser’s boys weary on their backs
There was Joey Jones and Razor
There was Clem and Jimmy Case,
Cally and Phil Neal to put
A smile on every face!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The reds we gathered by the score
Back home on Merseyside
To welcome back our heroes how we
Drank the old town dry
And we danced and sang until our hearts
And throats could sing no more
Of all the dreams we ever dreamed
There’s none like this, for sure!
