The Maestro Returns, A Lesson Learned?

Then I think we’ll win four one
Shouldn’t have much trouble turning them over”
Was what I heard on the underground.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Then a humble man came on the box
To speak honestly of what he’d seen
How his team could easily have nicked three points
To put the cat amongst the pigeons.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 At halftime there was nervous angst
As the home fans started booing
With a volley hurled towards our man
Of “You don’t know what you’re doing”.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Andy Gray, post match said “A certain pen”
Then that’ll do for me
But then again, to be fair to the ref
He’ll only give what he can see.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 With hindsight, we were fortunate
And I know our fans may moan
But the Indian sign still hangs over us
When ever we’re at home.

Was Craig Bellamy’s goal a hand ball?

Was I the only fan, at Stamford Bridge, yesterday who really enjoyed a typical cut and thrust London derby against The Hammers, even though we didn’t win?

Listening to home fans on the underground, most of whom seemed to think all we had to do….was turn up to win, you would think so. I don’t wanna go to every game expecting to win….what would be the point? Where’s the sport and competition in that? I’m really looking forward to a tight finale to this season and long may it continue. You only sing when you’re winning is right! And anyone can do that.

We’re in the middle of a spell of up and down form at home at the moment, though that should not detract from Gian-Franco Zola and Steve Clarke doing their homework on us and getting the tactical side of their game spot on. Any neutral who caught the game would say…we were lucky to get a point….. again. Deffo.
