Notes

Boom boom …. Sorry, couldn’t resist it!

A response to Kevin Raymond’s : Of Course That Goal Should Have Been Disallowed!

I’m not a fan of bringing in video technology – though it’s at times like this that I can see it coming.

Abide by the referee’s decision – that’s the way I was brought up on the game.

Sometimes you just have to accept that football is based on skill, endevour …. and luck.

And for those too young to remember a classic tune :
Video killed the radio star – by the Buggles

Quote from Mourinho :
“It’s a handball so it’s not a goal and the decision is correct.”

“What is not correct is the referee didn’t see and allows the goal, the linesman didn’t see but after pressure by Fulham they changed their decision.”

Personally, I’d like to see him also uttering a public admonishment about Drogba trying to gain advantage by cheating.
