The Passion

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You tell me that it’s just a game, not anything of passion,
While you go shopping in the Mall, for anything of fashion,
You say I’m mad for getting high on adrenaline fuelled excitement,
Whilst you go on searching for your Nirvana and enlightenment.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’d rather have my ninety minutes of ever changing emotion,
Than spend my time in day-dream land across the mindless ocean,
To hear the roar, to feel the thrill, to chant my hero’s name,
Walking in the park with you could never be the same.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 So when you say I waste my time ‘cos my team are going nowhere,
And you laugh out loud when you see they’ve lost and say that you don’t care,
I will hold my head up high, esteem I shall not ration,
‘Cos nothing you can say or do can take away my passion.
