The people

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The moment of the day arrived
The one and only day I live for
The greatest day of all the days
The day I first played football

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It was the first day I’d ever played
And I was the only one not a boy
This worried me but soon I relised
This boys game could give me so much joy

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The game had just began and
I saw the football coming
I went up high to catch the football
And saw the big boy running

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So scared I was I jumped out of the way
The massive boy caught the ball
And how upset and embarresed I was
To see the boy so small

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 The boy was a mere two inches taller than me
which in most cases is not at all tall
But to tiny me he looked so giant
And I began to think I wasn’t meant for football

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 No I wouldn’t stop playing football
I might just have to change the way I’d always been
As I was always scared of something
And nearly everything I’d seen

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 ‘One day’ I told myself
‘I will be big and strong
And I will rule the football feild
And so prove everybody wrong’

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 So seven years on in my footy days
I walked on to the same feild
But this time everything was different
As we tried to win the sheild

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 And so we had a victory
And what a game we’d won
Now nothing ever scares me
Because now I’m big and strong!
