The Spatial One

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 There’s not enough space, here in this hotel room
For me, my staff and the boys
We need to talk tactics
But there’s far too much cramped up noise

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 We need to rev them up
We need to get them going
My cohorts and my minions
And me, the all knowing

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 There’s an empty seat a-begging
On the Potteries-bound team bus
And even though I’m absent, there is
The usual over-bearing media fuss

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 There’s another empty seat
Right there in the dugout
It’s both crucial and telling
Is Roman about to pull the plug out?

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Now my room has too much space
It’s all empty and dingy
I’m left watching on the tv, too far removed
From refs, as i get all crotchety and whingey!

Notes

Jose Mourinho watches from his hotel room, Stoke City v Chelsea, while serving a one match stadium ban.
