The Times They Are A Changing!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Would the previous night be surpassed?
Where the Catalan team were outclassed
Or could Real Madrid and Mourinho bid
For a record tenth Champions League vase?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Well the fortunes of Jose look doomed
As Lewandowski and co one presumes
Hold no fear of Madrid or their tenth title bid
As an all German Cup Final looms.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Will The Bernabeau white hankies wave
When the second leg next week is played
As Mourinho’s reign could well end at this game
In failure despite what he says.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 At The Camp Nou proceeding seems slim
Even with a fit Messi in trim
Die Bayern seem smoking hot pots for a trophy
They’ve fancied for two years they’d win.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Four nought down is some err to amend
But then Die Bayern are strong in defence
Are we witnessing here, an exciting new era
Where German teams rule once again?

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Us purists can hardly contain
The great buzz for these matches in Spain
Will Germanic finesse further Spanish distress
Or shall Lazarus rise for both games?

Notes

I’ve been watching German fussball on that cracking weekly highlight show on ITV, and I have to say it ain’t bad at all, in fact it’s been a real(sic) breath of fresh air. So maybe the Champions League trophy is destined for there this year, who knows?

Dortmund and Bayern, have impressed on me how well coached they both are in the team ethic, and a wonderful awareness for really clever positional play obviously worked hard at, out on the training ground. So much so that I can hardly wait for next weeks second legs in these two ties.

Go well and be lucky.

Peace.
