They haven’t paid the cops?
The bloke who runs the football team
Owns a load of shops
He owes the old bill money
They says its not been paid
How are they gonna get their dough?
Get the Sweeney to do a raid!
How d’yer knock the elderly William
Tell me how its done?
To not pay a bill from the old bill?
Sorry excuse the pun !
Wigan could get relagated
Before they’ve kicked a ball
Better to pay the old bill off
Before the new season comes to call!

Notes

I heard about this last night from a fellow blue, I thought it was hilarious.

I won’t be going now anyway as I’m off to spend that week on a canal barge, meandering its way to a folk festival at ten miles a day !

With the portable radio in one of me ear hole’s whilst the match is on and the other ear listening to Country Joe and the Fish !

And its one two three… what are we fighting for?

I’ve joined the hippies !
