THE TWIN TOWERS

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Twin Towers of Wembley,
Were an eyesore for all to see,
But suddenly for some strange reason,
They became part of history.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Shattered in pieces,
Down on the floor,
Pitch like a jungle,
Or a wild Yorkshire moor.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The site of so many wins,
And so many losses,
So many sins,
And so many bosses.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The memories now,
Flown away like ghosts,
We’ll never forget it,
Like those collapsed goal posts…. (see beneath)

Notes

The collasped posts for the ones that the Scottish fans jumped on after their famous result.
