Then there were Seven.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 After a gutsy first half performance
It was Chelsea who turned the screw
Classy party poopers
Gus Hiddink’s boys in blue
Sir Bobby, Gazza, Beardsley
Legends on the Tyne
What must have they been thinking
Sat watching our sad decline
But we are all in this together
And Seven cup finals lie in wait
But where there’s hope, there’s Shearer
And the prayers of Gallowgate.

Notes

Have Shearer and Dowie arrived to late ?
Never have so many been let down by so few.
Are we the new ‘Damned United’?
Next up It’s Stoke City away…….Watch this space.

Still, At least one North East team are going to Wembley, Best wishes to Whitley Bay in the F.A. Vase.
